YORBA LINDA, CA (April 20, 2012) --- John Force Racing will be joining the Blue Oval family at Knott’s Berry Farm, America’s #1 Theme Park, as part of the 27th annual Fabulous Fords Forever! celebration this Sunday, April 22nd. Hosted by the Ford Car Club Western Region the event will celebrate the 80th anniversary of the ’32 Ford, the 50th anniversary of the Cobra, the 45th anniversary of the Mercury Cougar and the 48th birthday of the legendary Ford Mustang.
“We are excited to spend the day with our friends and fans from Ford. This is a great celebration and we are thrilled to be included this year. Ford has been a great partner at John Force Racing both on the racing side as well as the safety side and any time we can get out to show our support we want to try and make that happen,” said 15-time NHRA Funny Car champion John Force.
Over 20,000 fans are expected to attend and all the car show display spots are once again sold out. There will be a John Force Racing Ford Mustang Funny Car on display and JFR drivers including John Force, Robert Hight, Courtney Force and Brittany Force will be signing autographs from 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. and then again from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m.
