TRIVIA CONTEST # 58

Q; John won the Midwest Nationals in 2002, beating the No.1 qualifier in the final round who left too soon and got a red-light. Who was it and how many career final rounds had that driver previously advanced to?

A: Scotty Cannon fouled out against John in his second career final round at the 2002 St. Louis event after qualifying No. 1. Scotty also qualified No. 1 at the next race in Denver, but only got as far as Round 2, losing to Del Worsham.
